Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Leh

Pick-up from Leh airport. Rest completely to acclimatise; a short evening walk to Leh market if you feel well.

Day 2Leh local and bike handover

Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, collect your bike, take a test ride and attend the trip briefing.

Day 3Sham Valley ride

An easy first ride to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar Sangam, returning to Leh.

Day 4Leh to Nubra via Khardung La

Ride up to Khardung La and down into Nubra. Visit Diskit Monastery and the sand dunes of Hunder, with an optional Bactrian camel ride.

Day 5Nubra to Pangong

Ride the Shyok route to Pangong Lake and spend the evening watching the lake change colour.

Day 6Pangong to Leh via Chang La

Return over Chang La, stopping at Thiksey Monastery and the school made famous by a Bollywood film. Evening at leisure in Leh.

Day 7Depart Leh

Transfer to Leh airport for your flight home.
